The Last Ordinary Day is the final period of ordinary life before an irreversible interruption, experienced without knowing that it was the last. It is not necessarily the calendar date of death, nor the final moments, nor last words. It may be a last ordinary morning, a last working day, hours before onset, or the usual life before admission — whatever stretch still felt like continuation.
「最後の普通の日」とは、不可逆的な中断の直前に存在した、本人にとってはまだ「いつもの時間」だった最後の日常である。死亡した暦上の日でも、死の直前でも、最後の言葉でもない。最後の普通の朝、最後の勤務日、発症前の数時間、入院前の通常生活など、まだ継続として感じられていた時間を含む。

A day can be lived as ordinary, then, after interruption, be reclassified as last. The day itself did not change. The name arrives later.
ある一日は、生きられているあいだは普通の日であり、中断のあとで「最後の普通の日」と呼ばれる。日そのものが変わったのではない。名前が、あとから着く。
A last day usually does not feel like a last day while it is being lived.
