The Assumed Tomorrow is the future a person did not consciously plan because they assumed it would simply arrive. It is not a dream, and it is not a scheduled next. It is the unnamed continuity in the background of ordinary life — another morning, another conversation, another season.
「あると思っていた明日」とは、計画した未来ではなく、来ることを疑っていなかった未来である。夢でも、予定された「次」でもない。日常の背景にある、名前のついていない継続——また朝が来る、また話す、また季節を見る——である。
Sudden death, in this lens, is not only the end of a life. It is also the cancellation of a future that had been treated as given.
このレンズでは、突然の死は生命の終わりであるだけでなく、前提とされていた未来が消滅する出来事でもある。
