Something associated with a person continues to circulate, develop, influence, or be maintained after that person's death. Continuation types may include publication, archive, institution, organization, community, performance, adaptation, research, memory, or influence — asserted only with public evidence.

人が亡くなった後も、その人に結びついていた作品、活動、制度、記憶、影響などが継続する。継続の型は刊行、アーカイブ、制度、組織、共同体、上演、翻案、研究、記憶、影響などがあり得るが、公的証拠のある範囲に限定する。
